Nice to meet you

ABOUT ME

LeMuel L. Eley resides in Raleigh, North Carolina. He is a proud graduate of Elizabeth City State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice and Psychology. LeMuel is the founder and host of The Encouraging Word Podcast — a ministry dedicated to uplifting and inspiring others through the Word of God.
LeMuel is the third of five children born to LeMuel and Wanda Eley. As a youth, he was actively involved in sports, participating in football and wrestling, and later continued his football career at Elizabeth City State University. After college, he served in various capacities, including as a Correctional Officer and with Federal Protective Services, faithfully demonstrating his commitment to service and integrity.
On June 18, 2010, LeMuel accepted the call to ministry under the leadership of his late grandfather, Bishop Johnny L. Alston, Pastor of Greater Ransom Way of the Cross in Henderson, North Carolina. While serving there, he led the Youth Department, where he successfully organized youth conferences, community outreach events, and established a computer lab to empower the next generation.
In 2012, with his grandfather’s blessing, LeMuel joined The Church of Apostolic Revival in Durham, North Carolina, under the leadership of Apostle John A. Bennett, Sr. He serves faithfully on multiple committees and currently holds the position of Head of the Media Department, where his creativity and dedication continue to bless the ministry.
In 2023, LeMuel was ordained as an Evangelist, and in 2025, he was elevated to the office of Elder. His favorite scripture is Galatians 6:9 (KJV):
“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”
LeMuel is a proud member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc.
Above all, LeMuel is a devoted father and is most proud of his beloved daughter, Rachelle A. Eley.
